WHO WE ARE

Hi and welcome to my website.

My name is Robbie Dodds and I am the owner of the company. I started out as an apprentice for a local decorating company as soon as I left school. After working and learning all my skills, it was time to go it alone and set up my own business.

I started my business in 1994 and have never looked back. Over the years I have built up a good customer base and have regular customers who continue to use my services year after year. I am fully insured to work in your home or place of work.

I am fully registed with both the Trustmark government scheme and have been a Dulux Select Decorator since 2003. Being backed by the worlds biggest paint company gives a 2 year guarantee on all of my work when using Dulux products. I also use a Festool sanding extraction kit when sanding down which is 99% dust free. This means there is no mess to clean up and keeps my working area tidy. I undertake all kinds of decorating from simple emulsion work to hanging all kinds of wallpaper.

In 2012 I was voted by my customers for the Dulux Most Trusted Decorator award. I won the North East regional award and was sent to Birmingham against 9 other decorators from around the country to get the chance to be the National winner. We all had an interview with Dulux, Trustmark and Dominic Littlewood from Cowboy Builders fame for 1 hour. At the dinner presentation, there could only be one winner and I was ecstatic that they chose me.

Based in Shiremoor, Newcastle Upon Tyne I work anywhere from the coastal area to Northumberland. I give free estimates and advice on choosing the right colour and finish for your particular project.
